CRAFT: The Art Of Visual Storytelling

CRAFT is an online ever-evolving art-of book featuring the art behind many highly-acclaimed independent projects from around the globe.

CRAFT provides a safe place for content creators to showcase their own work and explore / discover that of others. It is also an invaluable resource for students, educators and animation organizations worldwide.

CRAFT’s digital platform includes high-res, high-quality pre-production and production art images including Photoshop and TVPaint SOURCE files from Film (Animated Features, Shorts), Video Games, Graphic Novels, content from VR & Television, and Individual Artists.

90,000 resource files (& updating) are hosted within their corresponding craft categories along a development-style pipeline: script, story, concept art, art direction, backgrounds, character design, animation, compositing and sound.

Projects include Ale Abreu’s BOY AND THE WORLD and the entire film library from Cartoon Saloon (Tomm Moore’s THE SECRET OF KELLS, SONG OF THE SEA and all of their short films).

If you’re a filmmaker, artist, student, educator, lover of the craft – come by.
