CINANIMA 2015 presents 82 films in Competition

Now that the work of the Selection Jury of CINANIMA – The International Animated Film Festival of Espinho is completed it is time to take a peek to what can be seen in November.

For this 39th edition, CINANIMA had the privilege of counting with some well known people involved in animation, who kindly accepted the hard work of choosing the films to be shown in competition, doing it for the friendship and prestige they recognize in a Festival such as CINANIMA. The Selection Jury for the competitives sessions was constituted by Catarina Sobral (Portugal), Manuel Matos Barbosa (Portugal), Osvaldo Medina (Portugal) and Vítor Lopes (Portugal), that for three days watched a total of 27 hours. Vítor Lopes and Manuel Matos Barbosa had also an invaluable help from Ricardo Blanco in evaluating almost 1300 submissions. José Rodrigues, Paulo Fernandes and Tiago Almeida from the Festival’s Educational Service were responsible for selecting the films that will be included in Schools Come to CINANIMA programmes.
