The itinerante Exhibition “Imagines Nostra Animae”, which has been around the country since December 2021, has already been visited by more than 2800 people from three different cities.
The exhibition of illustration, animation and comics is composed by 23 panels and includes illustrations from 11 of the most renowned and awarded Portuguese illustrators, who have participated in many of the films produced by Animanostra – Cinema, Audiovisual and Multimedia.
After CINANIMA 2021, the artistic itinerancy started in the Escola Artística Soares dos Reis, in Oporto. It was followed by the Escola Secundária Manuel Laranjeira, in Espinho, and in March was presented at Monstra – Lisbon Animation Festival.
For now, this exhibition will be taken to:
– Escola Superior de Arte e Design (ESAD), in Matosinhos;
– Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre (before summer);
– Festival Flip, in Amarante, (autumn).
“Imagines Nostra Animae” was produced by CINANIMA to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the production company Animanostra and is curated by Pedro Serrazina and Humberto Santana.
