CINANIMA – International Animated Film Festival of Espinho presents these films in 8 Portuguese Universities, from the 1st to the 31st of October, free entrance for the academic community and the general audience.
The programmes are: Best of CINANIMA 2017; “The Best of Contemporary Finnish Animation”; “O!PLA – Focus on Poland” and “Dun Laoghaire College of Arts Films – Ireland”.
In 2013, the University of Porto was the first university in the country to establish this partnership with CINANIMA. Soon after other Portuguese universities joined the project: Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, Aveiro, Coimbra, Beira Interior and Algarve. This year, the School of Arts of the Portuguese Catholic University and the University of Madeira have also established protocols with CINANIMA.
