“Uma História de Amor e Fúria” é um filme de animação que retrata o amor entre um herói imortal e Janaína, a mulher por quem é apaixonado há 600 anos. Como pano de fundo do romance, a longa-metragem de Luiz Bolognesi ressalta quatro fases da História do Brasil: a colonização, a escravidão, o Regime Militar e o futuro, em 2096, quando haverá guerra pela água.
Destinado ao público jovem e adulto com traço e linguagem de alta definição, o filme traz Selton Mello e Camila Pitanga que dão voz aos protagonistas. A longa-metragem conta ainda com a participação de Rodrigo Santoro, na pele do chefe indígena e de um guerrilheiro.”

“Rio 2096, A Story of Love and Fury” is an animated film revolving around the love between an immortal hero and Janaína, the woman he has been in love with for 600 years. Luiz Bolognesi has set the story in four phases of Brazil’s history: colonization, slavery, military regime and the future, in 2096, in the midst of wars for water.
Targeting both youngsters and adults alike with a graphic novel slant to it, the film stars the voice talents of Selton Mello and Camila Pitanga as the two main characters. The feature film also counts on the voice of Rodrigo Santoro as an Indian Chief and warrior.”

Luiz Bolognesi
Formado em jornalismo pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC-SP) e em Ciências Sociais pela Universidade São Paulo (USP), o argumentista premiado, Luiz Bolognesi, é sócio-fundador da Produtora Buriti Filmes. Entre os seus trabalhos, destaca-se o dos filmes “Chega de Saudade”, “Bicho de Sete Cabeças” e “As Melhores Coisas do Mundo”. Em 2012, finalizou a animação “Uma História de Amor e Fúria”, assinando a realização e argumento. Além disso, coordena os projetos socioculturais da Associação Tela Brasil: Cine Tela Brasil e Oficina Tela Brasil.

Degree in journalism from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC-SP) and in Social Sciences from the University of São Paulo (USP), the award-winning screenwriter, Luiz Bolognesi, is a founding partner of the production company Buriti Filmes. His works include the films “Chega de Saudade”, “Bicho de Sete Cabeças” and “As Melhores Coisas do Mundo.” In 2012, he finished the animation “Rio 2096 – A Story of Love and Fury”, as diretor and scripwriter. He also, coordinates the cultural projects of the Association Tela Brasil: Cine Tela Brasil and Oficina Tela Brasil.
