2021 – 2023
Perspectives on Portuguese Animation is a project that was conceived and developed in 2021 by Pedro Serrazina, an academic teacher at Lusófona University and multiple-award-winning animation film director, CINANIMA’s artistic director at the time.
Perspectives on Portuguese Animation aims at the (re)knowledge and the (re)positioning of animation cinema in the contemporary multidisciplinary universe, as an artistic expression of high multidimensional richness that can and should be approached and interpreted by other perspectives than those who work more directly with it, in view of the undeniable reality of being a Portuguese artistic area still to be explored in the field of scientific and academic research.
